The City Of Souls

A vision whilst praying on the 19th March 2019

I saw a crowd of people as I was walking through them in the financial district of a city. My eyes were shut but I could see how everyone looked from a spiritual perspective. The majority of people looked like dark shadows & there were many. It was like a mass of darkness going through the streets.
There were a few bright lights amongst them but they were very sparse - these represented Spirit filled Christians.
Outwardly the majority of the people looked great, & possessed beauty, looks, physiques, intellect, wealth, confidence, position, social status, relationship success...etc but at the end of the day the dark mass were those who were dead & the ones who had the light were those alive in God's sight. All of these physical attributes are absolutely worthless if the soul is dead.

We walk by faith & not by sight...
We must see through our spiritual eyes to get the true perspective on things. Many people may look good outwardly (for now) but it's the spiritual appearance which really matters. Sometimes we need to close our physical eyes to see the true spiritual picture clearer...

"For we walk by faith [we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance."

2 Corinthians 5:7 (AMPC)

"Look beneath the surface so you can judge correctly."

John 7:24 (NLT)

"In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind."

John 1:4 (NIV)

"So Jesus said to them, "For a little while longer the Light is among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; he who walks in the darkness does not know where he goes."

John 12:35 (NASB)

I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness."

John 12:46 (NASB)
